Lefamulin acetate (BC-3781 acetate) is an orally active antibiotic. Lefamulin acetate inhibits protein synthesis by binding to the peptidyl transferase center of the 50S bacterial ribosome. Lefamulin acetate has anti-inflammatory activity.
